Mitigation of Losses in Water Distribution
Mitigation of Losses in Water Distribution
One of the most serious problems affecting water distribution activity is related to the losses occurring in the physical network, for several reasons. The identification of these incidents is a task that requires control and perception of the characteristics of the operation.
In order to fix this problem, TLM joined Serenco Engenharia, experts to verifying the problems, can complement and count on the necessary engineering consulting support to work on that weakness.
The solution includes the following elements:
- Autonomous pressure sensors, which collect pressure data available at specific points in the network, transmitting them to the Control Center that registers these data and guides the evaluation and analysis processes. These sensors have batteries and are especially interesting at those points where there is no (or easy access) of public power and can be recharged according to the required observation period. The pressure sensors themselves may be those available on the Customer or also supplied in the assembly.
- Infrastructure for data capture, transmission, processing and storage, encompassing all equipment and processes related to data processing and information availability
- Consultative engineering services to indicate the procedures and recommended operations to mitigate the problems themselves.
