Reservoirs and Channels
Nature provided Brazil with significant potential for water use as a source of supply and energy generation.
The regularization of these flows and capacity, for better use, requires the construction of dams, as well as diversion channels and flow correction. At the same time, the stability of these constructions, subject to a wide range of external influences, brings with it the need for constant monitoring of various events.
Thus, with the new technology and its sensors, activities until recently difficult and costly become feasible, such as:
- Flow control of drains and spillways
- Monitoring of piezometer levels
- Flow parameters, such as temperature, speed, turbidity, and many others.
