Support to Civil Defense Activities
The activities of Civil Defense have a special dependence on the transmission of information to alert the population, under the occurrence of potentially dangerous events and their prevention. Communities subject to these events, many of which are predictable and may have their consequences minimized, are safer if warned in advance.
In order to handle this events, TLM has developed a device that has the capacity to communicate with parametric signaling, which timely triggers a device installed in each residence or vulnerable place, alerting them to the type of occurrence expected, as well as the precautionary measures to be taken, according to a pre-defined protocol.
This device has the following functions:
- Ability to communicate to the central operations, according to TLM communication protocol characteristics and to Civil Defense operation
- Alert device, to be made available in each vulnerable unit, with sound and visual signaling, locally
- Communication to joint all the agents, such as Local Government, Fire Brigade, hospitals, etc.
